My inspiration was the light touch pressure sensor from Kobakant.
I started by cutting out pieces of neoprene and copper fabric, following the Kobakant design.
Then I soldered the wire onto the fabric (being very careful as it's easy to burn the copper fabric and just have a hot mess of solder and melted copper).
Testing the connections.
I insulated with hot glue which, in retrospect, what not the best design decision. But it worked.
I layered it with velostat.
Making the circuit and getting a sensor reading!
I installed Firefly following their user's guide. It was slightly outdated but more or less told me what I needed to know.
I had some issues with the GH_Timer (now Trigger) and then realized that I needed to update to the latest version of Rhino.
In the end though, the installation wasn't so bad. Firefly works pretty well!
